How to join the Public Test Server PTS
The public test is a chance for you to try out new and upcoming features in World of Warships before they are introduced to the general community. These tests are usually held shortly before an update is released, to give you the opportunity to look at what the future holds, help us test the features and let your voice be heard in the form of feedback. It's a great way to contribute to the game and help the development team stay on the right course.
If you want to join the Public Test for the first time, download the client (~22 GB) and register your account on the Public Test portal. You can also authorize your Steam or Windows Store account in order to create a Public Test account so that you can receive your rewards for testing the game.

Not using the Wargaming Gaming Center? To get access to the World of Warships Public Test:
- Go to the public test portal. You can change the language by clicking on the map in the upper right corner of the page.
- Click the "Join Now" button. You need to create a new account for the World of Warships Public Test. As it is not connected to the game database, your Wargaming.net id will not allow you to access the Public Test.
- Once you have created a Public Test account, you will receive an e-mail with confirmation that the account has been created. Click on the link in the e-mail to activate your account.
- Now you may use this account to access the Public Test.
We recommend you register your Public Test Account with the same email address you are using for your standard (live server) account. That way we can deliver any rewards granted for participating in the Public Test sessions.
Steam & Microsoft Store users follow the same process when joining the Public Test. This means you’ll need to complete your account, using a special button in the Port (this ensures any public test rewards will be credited to your Steam / Windows account). The next step is to download the Public Test client - this will run separately from the Steam / Windows Store version of the game.
The World of Warships Public Test has a separate database. Your normal game account will not be connected with your World of Warships Public Test account in any way. Your game resources, progress, stats, financial data, etc. will NOT be transferred or in any way affected by your Public Test account. The World of Warships Public Test is not connected with your Public Test accounts in other Wargaming titles, so they will NOT affect or be affected by it either.
